Located in the old bazzar and surrounded on four sides the jaberi mosque one of the most challenging projects of the Latidan team to design and construct:
the South and East side with bazzar shops and the Northe and West sides with madresat-al-nabi seminary.
This specific location imposed many restraction on the designing process and implementation of the project, which was finally resolved in two ways.
1- the challenge of locating mosque entrances
two small entrances were taken from two shops which were donated by benefactors.
2- the challenge of providing natural daylight for the mosque
since it was not possible to add more Windows due to this special location of the mosque, the Latidan team designed two dooms and a flat glass roof with unique Persian patterns.
Refraction of light and reducing the incoming heat were part of the goals that team has achieved.
